Born in Newark to Joseph Kerrigan and the late Mary Kerrigan (nee Hughes) she was raised in Middlesex and was a former resident of Dayton before settling to Kendall Park.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Kerrigan in 2017.
Surviving are her beloved husband James Charles Butman, her cherished daughter Emily Mae Butman, her dear father Joseph A. Kerrigan, her loving brother Joseph P. Kerrigan and wife Jennifer, her dear nephew Padraig, as well as her extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
