Elvera Owsianik South Plainfield - Vera (Ianniello) Owsianik, 86, died on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 after a brief illness at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born and raised in Plainfield, Vera resided in South Plainfield for the past 65 years. A member of the ILGWU, Mrs. Owsianik was also a member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Plainfield. An avid reader, Vera enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Owsianik is pre-deceased by 2 sisters; Helen Verga and Ann Cherego, and by 3 brothers; Salvatore, Mike, and William Ianniello. Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Victor P. her 2 daughters; Rosemary Kirchofer and her husband Reese of Greenbrook and Joanna Cleary and her husband Jeffrey of Texas, and her son; Victor and his wife Kathy of Edison, her sister; Rose Sockler and her husband Ed of Bridgewater, and 3 brothers; Pat Ianniello and his wife Virginia of Hillsborough, Paul Ianniello and Pam of North Plainfield, and David Ianniello and his wife Pat of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Resse Kirchofer III and his wife Michelle, Krista Kirchofer, Marissa Owsianik, and Christopher and Elizabeth Cleary and 2 great grandchildren; Reese Kirchofer IV and Madison Kirchofer. Funeral Services will held on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 9:15 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield. Cremation is private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home. "> "> "> ">
