Obituary of Doreen E. Bolesta

South Plainfield - Doreen E. Bolesta, 68, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway.
Born to the late Salvatore and Ruth (Krommes) Testa, Doreen was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. She initially worked for Mattel in South Plainfield as a secretary and later was the owner and operator, along with her family, of the Corner Deli until her retirement in 2005.
Doreen enjoyed card nights with her friends, cooking, baking and shopping. She also cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Judith Krempa and Ruth "Cookie" Ferraro, surviving are her husband of 48 years, Stanley "Butch" Bolesta; three children, Stephen Bolesta, Ricky Bolesta and Christine Bolesta (Steven Feliciano); niece and nephews, Allison Riccardo, Frank Ferraro, Tony Ferraro and John Krempa as well as, many extended family and friends.
She will also be missed by her four grandchildren; Ricky Jr., Zachary, John and Gabriella.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 9:15AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield at 10AM.
Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Family and friend may attend visitation on Sunday from 2-6PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 US Highway #1 North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
