Obituary of FRANK JOSEPH ROMANO

Frank Joseph Romano, 68, passed away April 8, 2014 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City, he grew up in North Bergen and then raised his family in Piscataway.Frank Romano received his Masters at Fairleigh Dickinson and his Industrial Engineering Degree from NJIT. He retired from PSEandG and was most recently a Student Advisor at DeVry University/Keller. Frank enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, golfing, was formerly a recreational softball coach, was an avid New York Jets and New York Yankees fan, a crossword puzzle aficionado and a part time limo driver where he was often quoted as saying, "I just drive." Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.Frank was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nancy Romano. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Mrs. Judy Romano of Piscataway; his beautiful daughters and son-in-laws Christine and Jos Castellanos of Land O'Lakes, FL, Deanna and Robert Schablik of Ridgewood and Patricia Reilly of Land O'Lakes, FL; his sisters Marie Scala and her husband Robert of Secaucus and Antoinette Russo of Keyport; his grandchildren Jaclyn and Brittany Wheeler, Jennifer and Robert Schablik, Matthew, Austin and Kaitlyn Reilly; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank Romano's name to a charity of your choice.
