Florence Jennings, 69, of Piscataway passed away Saturday October 11, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mrs. Jennings was born in New Brunswick and resided in Spotswood before moving to Piscataway. She was an avid reader and an animal lover who also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Florence loved taking care of her children and husband. Mrs. Jennings was predeceased by her daughter Mary Jennings in 2006. Florence is survived by her husband Clarence Jennings of Piscataway, her sons Evan Jennings of Piscataway and Christopher Jennings of NYC; her daughters Teresa Sarbello of Tinton Falls, Deborah Ward of Somerset and Wendy Jennings of Piscataway; her brother Stanley Lisiewicz and sister Patricia DeStefano. She also leaves behind four grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday October 16 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854. A prayer service will take place Thursday 8PM at the funeral home. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Mary Jennings Memorial Scholarship Fund at Seton Hall University, ATT: Sasha Deieso, 457 Centre Street, South Orange NJ 07079.
