Piscataway - Rosalba Rodriguez, 92, died peacefully Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Colombia, Rosalba immigrated to the United States in 1977 and resided in Plainfield before settling to Piscataway.
A talented cook of traditional Colombian foods, she enjoyed sewing and traveling. Rosalba visited many countries and cities around the world.
Predeceased by her husband, Euripides and daughter, Gloria Sierra, surviving are her four children, Rosabla Cortes, Isabel Rodriguez, Fela Rodriguez and Lucio Rodriguez; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 5-7PM and Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 9-11AM in Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway NJ 08854.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 9:30am in St. Mary's RC Church, Plainfield.
Cremation will be held privately.
Rosalba's cremated remains will be entombed in Resurrection Burial Park Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11am.
