Benito "Benny" DiIusto, 78, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 surrounded by his devoted family at home. Born in Italy, Benny immigrated to the United States in 1953 where he resided in the Vailsburg Section of Newark before settling to Piscataway 47 years ago. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist for Roselle Precision in Berkley Heights. A communicant of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway, Benny was musically inclined teaching himself how to play the keyboard and accordion. He enjoyed taking trips with his family to Wildwood, where he loved being by the beach. He enjoyed being with family and friends and always knew how to put a smile on your face. Benny will be forever missed and always be remembered and known as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Predeceased by his siblings, Rosa Taneilli and Orazio DiIusto, surviving are his wife of 54 years this May, Felicia (Sasso); two children Anna Petro and husband Kevin of Martinsville and Michael and wife Lisa of Kendall Park and siblings, Frank C. DiIusto and Maria Cifelli. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren, Marissa and Brianna Petro, Michael, Matthew and Marco DiIusto. Funeral services will begin on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 9AM in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08846 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Piscataway. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Family and friends may attend visitation on Thursday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM in the funeral home.
