Obituary of James Harding

James Harding, 94, of Green Brook, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2017.
Born and raised in Falmouth, MA to the late James and Katherine Harding, he went on to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
He married Constance Olive and settled in Green Brook, NJ where they raised their family. Mr. Harding went to work for the former Bakelite in Piscataway, where he retired after 40 years for the now Dow Chemical.
James enjoyed wine making, boating, fishing, flowers, his vegetable garden, and the quality time spent with his family.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 69 years Constance Olive Harding, his loving children, James O. Harding and wife Ruth, Thomas Harding and wife Beverly, Katherine Carpenter and husband Michael, and David Harding, his cherished grandchildren, James W., Maureen, and Andrew, as well as his extended family.
Visitation will be held from 9:00AM to 11:00AM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Green Brook Baptist Church, 170 Greenbrook Rd, Green Brook, NJ, with a service to follow at 11:00AM under the direction of the Middlesex Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, GA under the direction of the Platt Funeral Home.
