Obituary of Angelo Butrico

Warren - Angelo Butrico, Sr. of Warren died Saturday December 16, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in the Bronx, Angelo resided in South Plainfield before setting to Middlesex where he raised his family. After the passing of his wife, Jennie, he relocated to Warren. An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy, Angelo worked as a plumber for over 40 years, owning and operating his own business in South Plainfield. He is communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin in Middlesex and enjoyed playing the lottery, horse racing and in his younger years, hunting. Predeceased by his wife, Jennie Butrico; and siblings, Anna, Frank and Charlie Butrico; surviving are his two children, Jacqueline Mainero of Tinton Falls and Angelo Butrico Jr. and wife Annmarie of Warren; sisters, Theresa Tolischus and Grace Butrico and brother William Butrico and wife Patricia. He will also be missed by his six grandchildren, Joseph and wife Nicole, Amanda, John and Amanda, Gina, Steven and Nicholas and five great grandchildren, Gianna, Joseph, Isabella, Lucie and Mia and a host of extended family. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 8:30AM in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road Middlesex NJ 08846 followed by entombment in Resurrection Burial Park. Family and friends may join in visitation on Monday from 4-8PM in the funeral home.
