Obituary of Margaret J. Stein

Margaret J. "Mommom" Stein, 75, passed away July 29, 2015 at Somerset Medical Center. Born and raised in Metuchen, she settled in Piscataway in the early 60's. Margie was a loving, generous person and was a faithful supporter of many charities. She enjoyed mysteries, history, puzzles and above all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who meant the world to her. Being a "mommom" to anyone that needed her is what she found most fulfilling. Margie was predeceased by her husband Leland who passed away in 2010. Surviving are her children; Timothy Stein and his husband Joseph Gnatek of Manville, Kimberly Stein and her husband Salvatore Cirrincione, Patty-Jo Leslie and her husband Michael and Michael Stein, all of Piscataway; her brother James Farley and his wife Gloria; her sisters, Helen Stamile, Patricia Farley and Donna Siecinski and her husband Ken; her grandchildren, Richard Larson, Kelly Krug, Haley Krug and Lacey Leslie; her great grandchildren, Alex Larson, Connor Larson, Chase McGroary and Ryland Larson; her "special" kids, Jill Synmoie, Jenny Ostroski and Carrie Lander; her "kids-in-law" Jamie List and Brian McGroary and her beloved cat Tigger. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Visitation hours are Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am to service time. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to an animal charity of your choice.
