Andrew G. Walsh, 68, passed away April 8, 2015 at home with his loving family. Born in Newark, he grew up in Harrison before settling in Piscataway in 1977.
Mr. Walsh proudly served an enlistment in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an engineer with AT&T for 30 years, a member of the Piscataway American Legion and was a loving Husband, Father and a new Grandfather.
Andrew was predeceased by his brothers Richard Walsh and Danny Walsh. Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years, Mrs. Helene Walsh; his son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Shannon Walsh; his sister Andrea Peterson and her husband Robert of TN and his cherished new granddaughter Evelyn Walsh.
Funeral services will begin Saturday 9:00 am from the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by a 10:00 am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway. Committal will be private. Visitation hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
