Somerset, NJ Virginia Clare (Mahoney) DeLuca, 82, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Elizabeth to her late parents Martin and Ida (Boutot) Mahoney, she lived in Elizabeth until 1966 when she moved to Middlesex. Virginia relocated to Somerset in 2004.She worked as a Corporate Office Manager for Bradco Supply Company in Avenel. Virginia loved to travel internationally and shop. She was an extremely generous and caring person. She is predeceased by her son Martin Francis in 1968, her husband Lawrence in 2000 and by two brothers; Father Martin Mahoney and George Mahoney.Virginia leaves behind her loving and devoted family; daughters Eileen DeLuca-Kranz of Erie, PA and Loretta DeLuca of Somerset, her son Lawrence and his wife Michele of Middlesex and her sister Elizabeth Weeks of Garwood. She is also survived by her five cherished grandchildren; Jessica, Megan, Zachary and Rachel DeLuca and Mackenzie Kranz and by her two adored great-grandchildren; Mason Kranz and Gianna DeLuca. Virginia will be missed by many extended family members and friends.Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846.At the request of the family, funeral services and burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia will take place privately.In lieu of flowers please send donations in Virginia's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
