Obituary of Catherine Grazioso

Piscataway - Catherine "Kay" Grazioso passed away Wednesday December 27, 2017 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick peacefully with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Piscataway in 1965. Kay worked for Western Electric in Kearny, NJ as a process checker before retiring in 1983. Kay was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima for many years and a member of the Red Hats Society of Piscataway. She enjoyed trips to the casino and will be remembered as an amazing cook. Kay loved making Italian food such as; eggplant, gravy and sausage & peppers for many, hosting superbowl parties and opening up her home to many. Kay was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Grazioso and devoted mother of the late Anthony Grazioso, the daughter of the late Dominick & Pasqualina Morganti and the last surviving of eight siblings, Ray, Frank, Rosaro, Mike, Rose, Elizabeth, Annie and Babe. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Grazioso and her wife Tracy; daughter in law, Pat Grazioso; the loving grandmother of Nicholas, Tony and his significant other Nicole and Christopher and his wife Luz; She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Ashely, Bryan and Bella; along with many nieces, nephews and good friends. Funeral services will begin on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 915AM in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Road Piscataway NJ 08854 followed by a funeral mass in St. Matthias Catholic Church, Somerset at 10:30AM. Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday from 4-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Catherine to the Alzheimer's Organization (alz.org) or to the Grazioso Family.
