Middlesex - Janelle L. (Shultz) Nigro, 65, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Danville, PA to the late Clifford and Alice (Pelling) Shultz, she lived in Piscataway before settling to Middlesex nine years ago.
Janelle loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and her most happy times were spent vacationing; whether it was the trips to Cancun, surf and deep sea fishing or time spent down in LBI.
Predeceased by her parents and one sibling; Janelle leaves behind her husband Frank, children Maria Young of Mississippi, Jen Avallon and Ed Avallon, both of New Jersey, six grandchildren; Samantha Young, Eddie Avallon, Vivian Zemaitis, Sarah Young, Gracie Avallon and Peyton Gallagher along with several extended family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm with a service reflecting her life beginning at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, 200 S. Park Road, Suite 100
