Obituary of Scott Willard Tomlinson

Scott Willard Tomlinson, 49, of Piscataway, died on October 7, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Plainfield to the late Richard and Stella Tomlinson (nee Roth), he was a lifelong resident of Piscataway. Scott was a heavy machinery mechanic with Foley, Inc. in Piscataway where he specialized in CAT equipment. He enjoyed working on cars and was an avid dog lover. Scott was known for his generosity and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his death by his parents, Richard and Stella Tomlinson, and by his brother, Bruce Tomlinson. Surviving are his beloved wife and best friend, Barbara Jean Tomlinson (nee Jackson), his daughter Kelly Maxfield and husband Eric, his adored grandsons Aiden and Mason, his dear siblings, Rich Tomlinson and wife Beatriz,Donna Keeling her husband Earl, Nancy Young, sister in law Donna Jackson, his nieces and nephews, Lyndsay, Lauren, Maria, Nicholas, Christopher, Crystal, Earl, and Timothy, his great-nephew Jayden, as well as his extended family, colleagues, and friends. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a memorial visitation on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00PM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
