Robert A. Brown, 72, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Woodlands Care Center in Plainfield.
Born in Brooklyn, New York to the late James and Grace Brown (nee Tumberello), he was raised in North Plainfield, and was a long time resident of South Plainfield.
Robert attended cosmetology school and was a licensed beautician. He worked with Teppers Salon and Mr. Dave's, and used his natural talent to do freelance work. He enjoyed art, drawing, and reading the bible.
Surviving are his brother Jim Brown and wife Gerry; three nieces, a nephew and eight great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to the American Diabetes Foundation.
