I just heard this terrible news. I knew Tony for about 30 years. I live in Highland Park, at the corner of the Raritan River. He would come down often and fish or talk or just be. Tony was a great guy. I'm sorry for the families loss. Sad I only just found out. He will be missed

Tony was one of a kind and good friend . I will miss him. There are so many memories and laughs we had over the years? Some I can share and some I can't until we are reunited. Tony the technician and TBone were my nicknames for that kook (that's what he called others).
Funny story. When Tony came to Jacksonville for a year he baby say my kids when they were real young. I showed my son the video of 'in the tl thicket' and the first thing my son said to me was....' and you let him babysit us?''. I said yep and that is where he learned to change diapers on you two. Came in handy when his two nephews were born.
Test in peace my brotha. See you the other side someday

I just learned of Tony’s sudden passing on 2/22. My deepest sympathy to all of Tony's family and friends. I was shocked and deeply sadden as I had spoken to him several weeks ago. Tony would often reminiscence of years gone by fishing adventures we shared during summers off from school. I will always fondly remember the time we spent exploring the area’s rivers and ponds. He was the link to back to my past, reminding me of details of our past that I had long forgotten until he retold the stories.
I will always remember Tony being there as a close supportive friend when my father passed away suddenly at age 16. I will remember his encouraging me to join High School sports teams and later, in our more recent lives being able to once again reconnect our friendship. He touched and enriched so many of our lives with his warm personality and we were so fortunate to be a part of his. Tony’s spirit will live on in all of us.

My deepest sympathy to all of Tony's family and friends. I am still in shock over his passing away so early in his life, very saddened. I was hoping to get out hunting and fishing during our retirement years as we did so many times in our youth, with some changes of course. Tony taught me a lot about the outdoors, and wilderness survival, and I'll never forget the night spent in his underground shelter, I felt a little clostrophobic but survived it. He was a great outdoorsman, a true class act, and a wonderful friend that I will miss for the rest of my life.

Tony was my wrestling partner, he always tried so hard to be the best on the mat. Always admired his outdoors living and love for nature.I really enjoyed the video they made on his life in the woods. He will be missed and always had a nice calming personality when ever you would run into him.

Tony - AKA "The Famous Guide" - I gave him that moniker because he knew every inch of woods in the central Jersey area and could literally guide you to it or through it.
It took a lot of guts to live this life on terms other than what your guidance counselor or parents had in mind for you. You had had guts Tony, fearless.
Men did not come much tougher than Tony Bosco. I recall thinking to myself " I'm so glad he is on my side".
Tony was honest- what you saw is what you got. How many of us can truly say that?
Tony was thoughtful- often I would come home from work and my dog would have a fresh bone in her mouth or an antler that I did not recognize- her tail wagging as she runs up to show me what Tony had brought her sometime during the day. He would play with her for hours in the backyard, Ember will miss him.
Tony was my friend, someone I could count on no matter what... and that is what I will miss the most.
RIP. Shoot straight in the Happy Hunting Grounds my friend. I'll catch up with you down the road.
