Obituary of Dianne Lynn Gehrke

After a long illness, Dianne Lynn Gehrke, 29, passed away at her home in Middlesex on February 21, 2019.  As an Army wife, Dianne has lived in Fort Hood, TX, South Korea and Florida before settling back to Middlesex six years ago after the death of her husband Sean Maxwell.

 

Dianne was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church and was a talented gymnast, having started the Middlesex High School Gymnastic Team.  She loved school and furthering her education, Dianne enjoyed her time with Delta Gamma at Syracuse University.

 

She received the MEA Scholarship and Bell Labs Scholarship.  Dianne loved her country and was proud to be part of a military family. 

 

Dianne is survived by her parents; Joyce and Greg Gehrke, her brother Billy Gehrke, maternal and paternal grandparents; Ed and Helen Kinal and Bill Gehrke and Leslie Parkin along with several extended family members, including many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Visitation will be held at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 4-7 pm.  On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, family and friends are invited to gather directly to Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex for an 11:00 am funeral mass.

 

As an avid animal lover, memorial contributions in Dianne’s name sent to either the Plainfield Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
