Lavallette, NJ – Kenneth Charles Takacs, 72, passed away suddenly on March 22, 2019 after a motor vehicle accident in South Carolina.  Born in Perth Amboy to the late Charles and Marguerite (Glagola) Takacs, Kenneth lived in Rahway, resided in Middlesex for over thirty years and finally settled in Silver Beach in 2013.

Kenneth worked as a Corporate Controller throughout his life, retiring in 2010.  His pride and joy was his 1967 Chevelle convertible.  He enjoyed showing his car at numerous car shows and was a member of the Northern Ohio Chevelle Club. 

Kenneth was an avid New York Giants fan, loved taking road trips with his wife and singing oldies as they travelled together and enjoyed time in Atlantic City. 

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Barbara (Blockus) Takacs, son Jeffrey S. and his wife Danielle of Westampton and daughter Melissa L. Hill and her husband Justin of Middlesex.  He also leaves behind his sister Karen Destler and her husband Thomas of Edison, three grandchildren; Victoria, Jackson and Juliet and his godson Ryan Destler.

Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4pm until 7pm.  On Friday, April 5, 2019, family and friends may gather directly to Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex for a 9:30 am Funeral Mass.
