Obituary of Patricia Marie Seubert

Patricia Seubert, age 78, of South Plainfield died Friday, April 3, 2020 of natural causes at Kindred Hospital New Jersey, Rahway, N.J. Pat was born in Perth Amboy and lived in South Plainfield.

Pat was a graduate of Middlesex County College, where she received her Associate’s degree in Economics. She continued her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Rutgers University and finally, her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kean University, where she was on the Dean’s list. after 20 years of service , Pat retired from her position at Middlesex Multiple Listings in 2018.

A communicant of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield, she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Pat loved the beach, a good book and a cup of tea. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially at the annual Labor Day Picnic after the parade.

Predeceased by her parents, Alice and Frederick Funk; siblings, Walter, Richard, Chester, Rusty, Dolores, and Gail and granddaughter, Daniele; she is survived by her daughter, Dawn and her husband John Apostol; sons, Jerry Seubert and wife Bernadette, Scott Seubert and his wife Alexis and Richard Seubert.

She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Krystal, Vincent, Timothy, Caitlin, Fiona Morgan, Corina Rose, and Julia; great-grandson, Dylan; sisters Bernice Funk and Barbara Thomas as well as many loving nieces and nephews and good friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 beginning at 9AM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield at 10AM.

Burial will follow in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
