Piscataway – Cesareo Bouza, Jr., 88, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Cesareo immigrated to the United States in 1962 to Elizabeth, where he was a longtime resident. An Assistant Vice President/Controller for Helmsley-Spear, Inc. in New York City, Cesareo settled to Piscataway with his daughter 11 years ago.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Predeceased by his wife who died in November of 2014, Lydia (Estrada) Bouza; surviving are his two children, Edward C. Bouza and his wife Kim of St. Augustine, FL and Hilda Bouza Vroman and husband William of Piscataway; grandchildren, Tara Lareau, Theresa Maistrow, Edward Bouza, II; Jennifer Vroman and Christina Vroman and great grandchildren, Caleb, Nicholas, Gavin, Emma, Penelope, and Edward III; and his beloved sister, Nancy (Bouza) Santisteban.
Cesareo will be entombed along his beloved wife in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Piscataway Funeral Home.
