Obituary of Mary J. Pluscauski

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Jane (Glover) Pluscauski passed away peacefully on April 28, 2020 surrounded by her family, she was 88 years old. Born in Bayonne, NJ, she grew up on Story Court which was right next to St Andrews Church where she married her lifetime sweetheart Joe 68 years ago. The couple moved to Salzburg, Austria where Joseph was stationed in the U.S. Army and where the first of five children was born. After settling in Piscataway, NJ another four children came along. Raised during the “wonder years” were Pamela, Michael, James, Joseph, and Julianna. Eventually five grandchildren, Meredith, Jaclyn, Erica, Alexis, and Michael arrived followed by six great grandchildren, Emily, Oliver, Wyatt, Carter, Hudson, Paxton, with one on the way expected this coming Fall. Additionally, Mary Jane is also adored by her children by marriage, Gene, Sheila, Scott, Andrew, Aaron, and JT and is also survived by her sister, Lorraine who is 93 years old and loved her dearly. The long life of this lovely lady can be summed up by a biblical quote…the greatest of God’s gifts are FAITH, HOPE; and LOVE…AND THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE. She was loved and respected by all she knew and the love shared by her and her Joe was a gift for all to share. Mary Jane was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and of course…friend. We will continue to celebrate her rare and wonderful way of making all around her just feel good. While no services will be conducted at this time, we plan a life celebration mass sometime in late Fall at her church, St. Marks in Sea Girt. We will make certain to send out information to family and friends at that time. In lieu of gifts or flowers, please feel free to send a donation in her name to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org
