Kay was a very special and lovely lady. I had the pleasure of knowing her, as she and my Mom, Josephine, shared a room at the Gardens of Monroe. They had their own special way of talking and laughing together. She always looked out for my Mom in her greatest time of need and, for that, I am truly grateful to her. I would like to extend heartfelt condolences to her family. I will always remember her and the beautiful person she truly was. God bless her, and may she rest in peace.

I had the sincere pleasure of knowing Kay for about a year when she became the roommate of my mother-in-law Josephine at the Gardens at Monroe. We had many laughs together. I was her "Ice boy", running to the ice maker at the far end of the building, always making sure she had nice cool ice water at her disposal. I was also "Menu Boy", making sure she had the next days menu. When I think about it, I was her humble servant. (and happy to do so). When my mother-in-law passed away in February, I was so sad for Kay as she lost not only a roommate, but a dear friend. Kay and Josephine had a funny banter between them that helped them pass the time. They are both together now and no doubt enjoying the same one-liners. I miss you Kay and thank you for looking out for Josephine.

Kay was a wonderful and special person.. she was like a second Mom to me, welcoming into her family at 14 years old when I became friends with MaryAnn. I have many special memories of her and will miss her. I am glad I was able to see and spend time with her in Dec. Deepest condolences to the whole Family. Love, Annamarie and Vic
