Condolences to her family and to all who's lives she touched...
She Tended God’s Flowers © Sue k Green – all rights reserved
She tended God’s flowers
down here on earth
she bent to those she lifted
and in it, always, she found worth
It’s time she’s taken needed rest,
her body worn from earthly wear
for there were always gardens needing tending
and her hands and heart were always there
The angels now smile
for this gift from earth
as we, who have loved her
feel such sadness, loss, and dearth
No bowling balls in heaven
in God’s well-tended lanes
but swinging doors to loved ones
thus, her touching spirit will remain

I met Nancy when we moved to Tabb Ave . I remember my son (18 years old at that time) coming to me and said : Mom, look at that lady !!! She is older than you and she is cutting the grass!! Don’t you feel embarrassed ? I looked at him and said: she is even older than you , so you should feel embarrassed . I never cut the grass but my son since .
I have so beautiful memories since I met her . We shared the passion for gardening and used to have very interesting conversations about our plants . Her kindness and sweet smile make a difference in our lives . I thank God for giving me the privilege of being her friend .
We are missing her already and will remember her forever!!
Now she is an Angel smiling in Heaven!!!

One of the funniest memories I remember of Nancy is:
When Denise and I in maybe 6th grade, desided to make a fire in the woods behind quibbletown school. I made the fire very big and it started to spread.. I took off running to Denise’s mom, Nancy’s house. I said you need to call the fire department some kids lit a fire. Never telling her it was us.. Later Denise told me , my mother knows you lit the fire , she said you had black soot all over your face.. thanks for not telling my parents..
I won’t forget all the New Years with Nancy and Ralph.
I hope you are bowling a strike every time in heaven.
Love Michelle Marrocco.

I have only been bowling for about five years but I got to know Nancy through our bowling league. She always had a smile on her face (and in her heart) and was extremely personable and caring, always asking how I was doing and how my grandchildren were. I am extremely saddened by the news of her passing and she will be missed terribly. I wish her peace. Sincerely, Kathleen Curcio
