Obituary of Natalie F. Mazzei

Edison – Natalie F.(Zinni) Mazzei, 94, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 23, 2020.

Born and raised in Newark, Natalie met her late husband, Anthony and they soon married in 1942.  They resided in Elizabeth, Clark and Edison, raising their family.

Natalie loved to cook and bake and loved all her cherished children and grandchildren.  A matriarch in her family, she will be forever missed.

Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Mazzei and two children, Catherine Balmann and Victor Mazzei; surviving are her daughter, Natalie Mazzei; six grandchildren,   Michael Balmann, Marianne Balmann, Stacey Menching, Danielle Blair, Victor Mazzei and Anthony Mazzei; eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by entombment in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery.

Family and friend may gather in the funeral home on Friday, from 4-7PM.

During this ongoing pandemic, according to Executive Orders and the CDC guild lines, we kindly ask that face masks must be worn while visiting, to be mindful of physical distancing to the best of your ability, and are asking visitors to minimize time spent indoors to allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.
