Obituary of Frederick A. Brisebois
South Plainfield - Frederick A.D. Brisebois, 83, of South Plainfield, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Saint Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Born on March 21, 1937 in Nashua, New Hampshire to Albert Brisebois and Marion-Lussier-Brisebois, Fred graduated from Nashua High School in New Hampshire. He then proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War from July, 1954 to March 1958.
Shortly after he met Margaret G. Baumgartner, who he married in 1960, they settled in South Plainfield in 1962 and had six children. He worked for Harris Structural Steel, Tingley Rubber Corporation and was most recently a crossing guard at Roosevelt Elementary School in South Plainfield.
Fred was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church and was a member of The Knights of Columbus. He truly enjoyed fishing, photography, loved the outdoors, working with crafts, and helping other people. He will be remembered for his funny jokes and personality.
Fred will lovingly be remembered by his daughter, Bernadine M Buskirk of Inverness, FL; sons, Albert and his wife Sherri of Aberdeen, NJ; Samual and his wife Elaine of Cape Coral, FL; Gerald and his wife Christina of Pittstown, NJ; half-sisters Carol Brisebois of Illinois, and Nancy Abdallah of Florida.
He will also be missed by his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as by the rest of his family and friends.
Although he will be greatly missed, we are comforted to know he is with the Lord and reunited with our beloved mother, sister, brother and loved ones.
Fred was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Barbara M. Sporman and son, Frederick also by his half-brothers, Jerry Centofanti of Florida and George Brisebois of Manville, NJ
Fred will be laid to rest at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Due to COVID-19, Funeral services are private and under the direction of the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals.
