Obituary of Melissa A. Frink
South Plainfield, NJ – Melissa A. (McCoy) Frink, 59, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2021. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Judith (Craig) and the late William Bori, Melissa has been a lifelong resident of the boro.
In 1992, she married the love of her life, the late William E. Frink, Jr. who passed away this past May due to complications of Covid-19. She loved being a dental assistant, working most recently in Edison at Dr. Rednor’s office. Melissa and Bill enjoyed every moment together and were inseparable. Throughout the years, they loved to travel, especially to Ocean City, MD and Lancaster, PA. She was an avid Stevie Nicks fan and enjoyed attending her concerts.
Melissa loved people, especially those she grew close to at the South Plainfield Elks, #2298. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed having a drink or two, at Angelina’s Tavern or Buzzy’s.
Predeceased by her husband Bill, her father William and sister Danette, Melissa (known to her family as Lisa) leaves behind her mother Judith Bori of Manahawkin, her brother John Bori and his wife Gail of South Plainfield, step-son Troy Frink of Dallas, OR, step-daughter Carey Frink of Branchburg and nephews William and Daniel Bori of South Plainfield.
She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Cheryl Wiedwald and her husband David of FL.
Due to the current situation, a memorial gathering honoring Melissa’s life will be held at a later date.
