Obituary of Gina T. Fabito
Highland Park – Gina T. Fabito, 53, passed away after a long battle with cancer in the early hours of Monday, April 12, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Gapan City, Philippines, Gina immigrated to the United States in February of 2006, first settling in Edison and then Highland Park.
Gina worked at Dunkin’ in Edison as a Customer Service Representative. In her spare time, she loved singing, cooking, gardening, and enjoyed moments spent with her family. She also had a deep fondness for watching Korean dramas with her daughters.
Predeceased by her father Felipe Trinidad and brother Menandro, Gina leaves behind her husband Anecito and their five children: Clarion and wife Alfa, Carmel and husband Kristian, daughter Christiana, son Cyrus, and daughter Claire. She will be missed by her mother Afra Trinidad, née Tuazon; six siblings: Myrna, Leopoldo, Julieta, Rodolfo, Marian, and Gloria; and her granddaughter Victoria Alexa.
Visitation will take place at South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 15, 2021 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. At the request of the family, a private cremation will follow the service.
