Obituary of Ralph L. Cortese
Piscataway, NJ – Ralph Louis Cortese, 70, passed away at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick on April 23, 2021. Born and raised in Scotch Plains to the late Angelo and Mary (Approvato) Cortese, Ralph lived in Edison from 1980-2000 and settled to Piscataway in 2001.
A self-employed plumber, Ralph was known to help many family and friends who were in need. He loved spending time with his family but his favorite time was when he was being a grandpa to Holden and Rowan.
Ralph leaves behind his loving family; daughters Kristin Cortese of North Brunswick and Jessica Cortese and her husband Joseph Dymnioski of Ewing, sons Ralph Cortese and his wife Maegan Heaney and Vincent Cortese, all of North Brunswick, two grandchildren; Holden Cortese and Rowan Cortese-Dymnioski as well as his sister Angela Sztuk and her husband Frank of Flemington.
Visitation will be held in South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 3-6pm with a concluding prayer service at 5:30pm.
At the request of Ralph’s family, cremation will be held privately.
