Obituary of William John Huffman

Piscataway, NJ – William J. Huffman, 67, passed away on July 14, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Born in New Brunswick to the late Edward and Mabel (Gunderman) Huffman, Bill has been a lifelong resident of Piscataway.

A retired printer, Bill worked for Webcraft in North Brunswick and enjoyed working part-time at Adessa Auto Auction in Manville.  He was a foodie at heart and loved to hunt and fish.  Bill was a life member at the Bound Brook Moose and belonged to the SAL of Piscataway American Legion.

Predeceased by his two sisters; Carol and Dorothy, Bill leaves behind his wife of forty years, Deborah (Salvio) Huffman and their six children; Maria Gentz of CO, William Steward of CO, Cheryl Arozamena of Piscataway, Matthew Giuliano and his husband Lenny of FL, Dana Boos and her husband Randy of South Plainfield and Jessica Huffman of Bound Brook.

Bill will be missed dearly by his fifteen grandchildren; Anastasia, Debbie, Tara, Kristine, Rebecca, Eddie, Tyler, Joey, Lucas, Jaylyn, Maxx, Madison, Skylar, Lexi and Kylie and his two great-grandchildren; Brianna and NovaLuna.

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.  Funeral services and burial at Lake Nelson Cemetery in Piscataway will take place privately on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
