South Plainfield – Thomas Horan, 68, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2021 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville.

                      

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Tom grew up in Middlesex.  He resided in Bridgewater before settling to South Plainfield 14 years ago.  A graduate of Kean University, Tom was a talented artist and continued his studies in the Spectrum Art Institute in Hillsborough. 

 

A salesman for Ray Catena Infinity in Bridgewater, Tom enjoyed spending his free time drawing and spending time with his devoted wife and best friend, Denise.  They enjoyed attending Downtown Somerville’s Car Shows and going on cruises.

 

Surviving are his wife of 12 years, Denise Conversano – Horan; two step children, Lisa and Mark Conversano; two sisters, Margaret Fernandez and husband Manny and Mary Davidson; brothers-in-law, John Picarello and wife Maryann and Gabe Picarello and mother-in-law, Carmella Picarello.

 

He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Rosemary and Thomas Davidson, Michael, Stacey and Christopher Picarello his wife, Kim as well as Shawna and Hayden Picarello.

 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in the New Durham Chapel,  225 New Durham Road, Piscataway NJ 08854 beginning at 11AM.

 

Funeral services are under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.
