Obituary of Linda J. Kertes

South Plainfield - Linda J. Kertes, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison surrounded by her family. 

Born in Readington Township, Linda grew up in Whitehouse Station and settled to South Plainfield in 1966. 

Linda had been employed as the store manager for Quick Check in South Plainfield and Piscataway from 1972 to 1982 before deciding to stay home and raise her 7 children. Her love for family and beautiful yard is what defines her. She had seven children and loved her grandchildren immensely.  

Linda is predeceased by her parents; William Sayers and Dorothy Robinson-Sayers, son, Michael, son in law, Matthew Rinaldi and two siblings; William Sayers and Doris Sayers – Kokinda. 

Surviving are her beloved husband, Frank Kertes Sr. and six children; Frank Jr. and his girlfriend Colleen Crotty, Jeffrey and his wife Amy Goodrich-Kertes, Robert and his girlfriend Jennifer Boyd , Jennifer and her fiancé Chris Banks, Kenneth and his wife Rosemarie Dixon-Kertes and Shannon Kertes. 

Also surviving are her ten grandchildren; Cheyenne, Kyle, Kenny Jr., Eric, Kristopher, Madison, Isabella, Kinsey, Mason, Krysta and a great grandson Konner, as well as, niece Kelly Kokinda-Westfall and a host of extended family and friends.  

A private visiting will be held on Wednesday for the family.  Cremation and burial of cremated remains in the family plot will take place privately as well.
