Obituary of Laura Ann Spanier - McNamara
Laura Spanier, 60, passed away peacefully on December 1st 2021 in Complete Care at Westfield. Laura was born and raised in Jersey City. Laura was born on January 29, 1961 the late, Edward Spanier and Mary Gableman.
Laura has been a resident in Middlesex County for about 35 years. She spent a lot of her time as a lunch aid at her children’s school, Lincoln Elementary, before becoming a Stay at home Mom to raise her children and grandchildren. She was the most selfless, caring person and had much more love to give. Laura lived for her kids and for her grandchildren. She will be missed for her beautiful soul and she will always be in our thoughts and always in our hearts.
Laura is also predeceased by the love of her life, Edward McNamara, as well as their daughter, Melissa McNamara. She is also predeceased by her sisters Patricia Antle, Kathleen Freedy and veronica Helmke.
Surviving is Laura’s Brother, Edward Spanier with wife Irene Spanier, Robert McKim and wife Patricia McKim. She leaves behind 4 kids; Jennifer Anderson, Eric McNamara, Erin McNamara, and Michael McNamara with Daughter-In-law Danielle Yulick. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Selina Anderson and fiancé Taylor DeMario, Brittany Douglass, Justine Anderson, Josuelito Santiago, Eric McNamara Jr and R’Yonna Spanier. She will be looking down on her two great grand babies; Liam and Eliana DeMario. She leaves behind her loving niece: Diana and Marty as well as other family and friends that she held dear to her heart.
