Obituary of Alexander Joseph Dziemianowski, Jr.
Alexander Joseph Dziemianowski, Jr, 89, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away on Thursday December 9, 2021. He was born and raised in Newark NJ and graduated from Southside High School in 1950. Alex lived with his family in Piscataway, NJ, before moving to Bethlehem, PA in 1989, and then onto the Charlotte NC area for the last 8 years of his life.
He served his country proudly for four years in the United States Air Force. Alex spent most of his career as a systems programmer at Lockheed Electronics in North Plainfield NJ, where he retired in 1989. He continued to stay active, working at Boscov’s Department Store in Bethlehem and also delivering medical supplies.
Alex loved sports, any kind of sports, and served the Piscataway community as a Little League and Babe Ruth baseball coach. He loved to teach baseball and loved watching his daughters in dance recitals. He also loved his cats and dogs. He was a hard worker, tireless, and fiercely independent, and a man of few words. He never complained about ailments, and was always optimistic about the future, even recently planning his garden for the spring.
Alex was predeceased by his wife Lynn in 2019, and is survived by his loving family, Alex Dziemianowski and wife, Lynn; Michele Waide and husband, Kevin; and Christine Bontempo and husband, Mark; His six grandchildren: Daniella and AJ Dziemianowski; Jeremy and Natalie Waide; and Mark and Tommy Bontempo; Sister Janet Spiwak, and nieces and nephews: Carla Aromando, Al Spiwak, and Steven Spiwak.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Middlesex Funeral Home located at 528 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ 08846.
On Monday, December 20, 2021, there will be a graveside ceremony from 11:15 to Noon, at Resurrection Cemetery, 899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854. Immediately following the graveside ceremony there will be a celebration of life luncheon at Vincenzo’s Ristorante, 665 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ 08846.
