Obituary of Judith Anne Getsy

Piscataway, NJ – Judith A. (Miller) Getsy, 80, passed away at home surrounded by loving family in the early hours on Thursday, January 20, 2022.  Born in Jamaica, Queens, NY to the late Clifford R. and Theresa J. (Hussy) Miller, Judith moved to Piscataway at the age of fifteen, lived across town in Piscataway and twenty-seven years ago she moved back to her childhood home.

She retired from Couch Braunsdorf in Bernards where she worked as an administrator.  Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Judith enjoyed shopping with friends, vacationing with family; especially to Walt Disney World and could always be found at a slot machine or with a scratch off, and if she played the weekly lottery with her dear friend Robert, they would often walk away lucky as can be.

Judith is survived by her husband Michael, daughters; Theresa Winkler and her husband Paul of Bridgewater and Michelle Tatoris and her husband Kevin of Glen Gardner.  Judith will be missed dearly by her three grandsons; Daniel Berardi, Jr. of Morrisville, NC and Chase and Dylan Tatoris of Glen Gardner.

At the request of the family; services and burial at Franklin Memorial Park will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judith’s name may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org.)
