Obituary of Julia F. Miserendino
Julia Frances Miserendino (DelPaoli), 91, of South Plainfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Born on May 4, 1930 to the late Anthony and Antoinette DelPaoli (Tedesco) in Plainfield, NJ, Julie was a hard worker. When she was 17 years old she worked as a telephone operator for NJ Bell she went on to learn how to make hats at the Bronson Hat Factory in Plainfield, NJ. In 1982 Julia was hired as a checks return clerk for United National Bank in Plainfield and after 14 years she retired from United National Bank in Branchburg, NJ.
Julie was a long time communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church and she enjoyed time spent with her friends in the South Plainfield Senior Center, where they took many bus trips down to Atlantic City.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren watching Yankees’ games, listening to Frank Sinatra, preferably after the Yankees won a game, and playing Scrabble.
Julie leaves behind her daughter, MaryAnn Burns and her husband John; three grandchildren, Kristin Niederman and her husband Seth, Allison Ronzo and her husband Joseph, and Brian Acrin and his wife Genevieve; five beloved great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Joseph III, Noah, Angelina, and Cole; as well as her sister Lucille Ianniello, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Frank DelPaoli in 2015.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Sacred Heart RC Church, 149 South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
