Obituary of Margaret L. Pasquerello

Toms River – Margaret L. (Martinkovic) Pasquerello, 82, passed away in the early hours of January 31, 2022 at Community General Hospital in Toms River.  Born in Plainfield to the late Stephen and Frances (Spencer) Martinkovic, Peggy settled to Piscataway in 1961, and relocated to Toms River in 2014.

Peggy loved children and spent her life caring for others as a childcare provider.  She also worked for twenty years as a crossing guard in the township of Piscataway.  She enjoyed ceramics, sewing and traveling, but her favorite time was with family or on the dance floor with her husband Dominick.

Predeceased by her husband in 2020, sister and brother; Dorothy and Stephen Martinkovic as well as her grandson Michael Lefano, Peggy leaves behind her loving family; daughter Lisa Lefano of Roselle Park, son Michael Pasquerello and his wife Lorraine of Seaside Park, four grandchildren; Alyssa and Mike Oliveira of Scotch Plains, Emily and Alban Ahmetaj of Metuchen, Stephen Pasquerello of Baltimore, MD and Natalie Lefano of Roselle Park.  She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren; Elias, Adelina, Liliana, Julian, Hannah, Andre and Sarah.

Visitaiton will be held in Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 9:00am until 11:00am.  A funeral mass will follow at Our lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway beginning 11:30am.  At the conclusion of mass, a private entombment will be held at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
