Obituary of Frances T. Madjeski
Edison – Frances T. Madjeski, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at home in Edison.
Born and raised in Plainfield, Frances is a lifelong resident of Edison. She is a communicant of St. Helena’s RC Church in Edison and enjoyed participating in bingo nights and volunteering her time around the church. Frances also enjoyed water aerobics, summers down the shore at Ocean Beach III and Thursday night cards with the ladies.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Frances loved watching her grandchildren grow and could be found on the sideline cheering them on during sporting events.
Frances is predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley“Sonny”; surviving are her three children, Jacqueline Roglieriand husband Anthony, Mark Madjeski and wife Frances and Lori Short and husband Vincent. She will also be missed dearly by her nine grandchildren, Kevin, Anthony, Heather, Kristin, Nicky, Mark, Morgan, Alexie and Courtney and six great grandchildren, Natalie, Ellie, Quinn, Miles, Ryden and Logan.
The Family of Mrs. Madjeski would like to thank the hardworking staff of Haven Hospice and St. Joseph’s Senior Center for their guidance during this difficult time, especially, June, Grace, Sister Maria and Paul.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 8:45AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in St. Helena’s RC Church, Edison at 10AM.
Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4-8PM.
