Carmen Rivera, 71, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville.
Born and raised in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Ms., Rivera lived in Brooklyn, NY before settling to Piscataway 20 years ago.
Carmen worked for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Angel Urena of Piscataway; sister, Gladys Torres of FL.; brothers, Jesus Rivera of AZ. and Manolo Rivera of FL.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6-8pm in the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Rd. Piscataway , NJ 08854.
Cremation Services will take place privately.
