Hillsborough, NJ – Carol A. Tenore, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  Born and raised in Irvington to the late Thomas and Rose (Skrovanek) Bottita, Carol lived in Edison prior to settling in Hillsborough twenty years ago.

 

Carol loved being with children and was proud to own Start-Rite Nursery School & Kindergarten in Piscataway.  Carol enjoyed singing, reading, the beach and the sun.  She was always lending a hand to help others and will be missed by all that knew her.

 

Carol leaves behind her loving husband of sixty-three years, Michael and their two children; Denise Tenore Gorr and her husband Robert of Middlesex and Michael Tenore and his wife Debbie of Moscow, PA.  Her six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one on the way, along with her two siblings; Thomas Bottita and his wife Ellen of Mountainside and Rosemarie Picciuto will miss her dearly.

 

Visitation will be held at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 beginning 10:00am.  A catholic prayer service will be held at 12:00pm followed by entombment at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
