Obituary of Michel Aubourg, Jr.
Piscataway – Michel Aubourg, Jr., 60, passed away on Saturday April 15, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family, in his Piscataway home.
Michel was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Claire Valles and Michel Aubourg Sr.
Throughout his years in Haiti, Michel excelled in his academics and knew multiple languages such as Latin, French, Haitian Creole, and English. Michel migrated to the United States in 1986 and settled in Piscataway in 1994. He worked as a Senior Medical Technologist at Roche Biomedical/Lab Corp of American in Raritan, NJ for 30+ years before retiring.
Michel was a loving, compassionate Catholic who took pride in always spreading his faith to others, as well as his strong devotion to the Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Fatima. Michel was committed to traveling and assisting churches such as St. Michael’s in Elizabeth, Immaculate Conception in Elizabeth, and St. Joseph the Carpenter Church in Roselle. Michel was a dedicated and active member of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway, where he serves as a Eucharist Guardian & Minister. Michel often brought communion to the sick and volunteered within the church faithfully. He also was a member of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri and of Our Lady of Consolata prayer group.
Michel was a loving husband, father, godfather, brother, uncle, cousin, mentor, and friend. Michel was the type of person who was known for sending thoughtful cards and providing beautiful prayers, blessings, and advice for those he loved. He always went out his way to make sure to instill his values on others with his passionate talks about his love of Christ. He was driven by a passion to help others. His life was a living example of his favorite Bible scripture Psalms 91. He will be remembered for his charisma, charm, and vibrant personality. He will be remembered for his welcoming bright face as he greeted and held doors for parishioners at church.
Surviving Michel is his loving wife, Rosario (Cabigon) Aubourg; children: Nicole Aubourg; and Robbie Kris Pangilinan, and granddaughter, Victoria Pangilinan.
He will also be missed by his siblings: Yves Francois Aubourg, Edouard Aubourg, Marie Carmelle Aubourg, Marie Michelle Sylvain, his sisters-in-law: Felice Desroches-Aubourg, Sandra Andres; brothers-in-law: Nardo Andres, Harold Hart; nieces and nephews: Melissa, Yves II, Brian Aubourg, and family, Ronald Mardochee Paraison and family, Alexandria, Stephanie, Edouard Jr Aubourg and family, Vanessa, Stéphanie, Reggie, Raphaël Rigaud and family, Hannah, Gina, Immanuel Hart and family, Robyn, Robert, Richard Andres and family; Godchildren: Laura David, Marthial Jean-Francois, and David Zychlinski.
The families affected with his loss: Aubourg, Valles, Antoine, Noel, Souffrant, Rigaud, Desroches, Parisien, Hart, Milord, Joseph, Polynice, Noisil, Jean, Moise,Jeanty,George,Casimir,Fenelus, and other extended family and friends.
The viewing will be held on Friday, April 28th at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854 from 4:00-8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 501 New Market Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854 at 10am.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, 899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
