Obituary of Nicholas Lemmo
Nicholas Lemmo sadly passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 17, 2023 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was 63.
Born in Plainfield, Nick was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield.
A charismatic and successful businessman, Nick owned and operated several businesses throughout the Central Jersey area and currently he was the owner of the popular CarCo. Auto World in South Plainfield.
Outside of work and during his younger years Nick enjoyed spending time on the golf course.
He is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Joseph Lemmo Sr. and is survived by his wife, Nancy of South Plainfield; brother, Joseph and his wife Diane of Watchung; niece, Alexis Broehl; great nephew, Michael both of South Plainfield and goddaughter, Taylor Tavalare. Also surviving are numerous extended relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2-7pm in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10am at Sacred Heart RC Church.
Immediately following mass, Nick will be entombed in the outdoor featured Mausoleum at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ.
