Obituary of Gerard Jude Halloran

North Port, FL – Gerard Jude Halloran, 64, died after a long illness on May 19, 2023.  Born in Elizabeth, NJ to Gerard and Shirley (Ford) Halloran, Jerry was a longtime resident of Middlesex prior to moving to Gouldsboro, PA and ultimately North Port, FL.

 

He owned and operated GJH Insurance Company prior to retirement.  He belonged to the Moose Club in North Port and the Pocono Farms Golf Club.  Jerry had a love for music, concerts, golf, cooking and could always be found rooting on his team, the St. Louis Cardinals.

 

Predeceased by his father Gerard, Jerry leaves behind his two children; Gerard and Jessica, both of Scotch Plains, his mother Shirley of Piscataway and his siblings; Thomas and Jean of Bridgewater, Cathleen Azargian of Shelton, CT and Daniel and Susan of Matawan.  He will be missed dearly by his nieces and nephews; Kristen, Kelly, Nicole and Alyssa Halloran, Richard and Josh Azarigian and Mariella and Cameron Huber as well as his aunt Nancy Healey and cousins Jeff Healey and family all of Middlesex and MaryLyn Roman and her family of Piscataway.

 

A gathering celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.  A religious service will be held in the funeral home beginning 6:00pm.  Although flowers are welcome, please consider a donation in Jerry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.StJude.org.)
