Obituary of Donald E. Reilly, Jr.
Donald E. Reilly, Jr. passed away at his home in Middlesex, NJ on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Donald was born on February 4, 1950 in Glen Ridge, NJ, to the late Donald E. and Elizabeth Reilly, Sr.
Donald graduated from Montclair High School, and then earned an associate’s degree from the University of Akron. He was employed for many years with McCord Corp & Standard Automotive Products. Donald was also an active member of the Elks Lodge #1488. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool at the Middlesex Elks Lodge and loved to spend time with his family.
Donald is pre deceased by his son James Donald Reilly. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Virginia (Ginger) M. (Lombardi) Reilly, as well as his son Brian J. Reilly and his wife Jaime Reilly, his sister Kathleen E. Reilly of Caldwell, NJ, and brother Kelly J. Reilly and Catherine Reilly of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ .
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Gentiva Hospice, 242 Old New Brunswick Road, Ste. #140, Piscataway, NJ 08854
