Obituary of Rosemarie Carosone

Rosemarie Carosone, 65, passed away peacefully in her home in Lawrenceville, GA on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Rosemarie initially worked in the banking field as well as in retail as a manager.  She used her managerial skills retiring from the restaurant industry.   In 2008, Rosemarie settled to Lawrenceville, GA.

A devout Catholic, Rosemarie was a communicant of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and a member of their Ladies of St. Lawrence within the parish.  She also volunteered as a middle school catechist.

Above all, Rosemarie loved her family and the time she spent with them, as well as sharing her memories of growing up in New York.

Predeceased by her parents, Donald and Emma DeSilva and brother, Donald DeSilva; surviving are her son, Anthony Carosone; sister and brother-in-law Donna and John Fedele, sister in law, Maryanne DeSilva as well as her nieces and nephew; Carla Fedele, Lucas DeSilva, Jennifer Sarrubbo and husband Fabio and their children, Joseph, Nicholas and Julianna, Michele DeSilva and Donald DeSilva, as well as, a host of extended relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation hours on Monday, December 11, 2023 from  2-4 & 7-9 PM in the South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in the Church of the Sacred Heart, 149 South Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield NJ 07080 at 10AM.  Those who wish to join together before mass may do so at 9 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will take place, after mass, at the family plot in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
