Obituary of Michael John Tedesco, Jr.
Michael John Tedesco Jr. of Acworth Georgia, passed away suddenly on December 14, 2023 at the age of 87 years old. A proud U.S. Navy Veteran of Summit, New Jersey born to Michael John Tedesco Sr. and Anna Milchinski of Madison, New Jersey.
He lived his life to the fullest, being the “mayor” of Middlesex New Jersey and every other community in Georgia that was blessed to know him. Every person in the world to him was just a friend he hadn’t met yet.
Michael was a beloved husband of 63 years to Rosemary Tedesco; father to Michael Tedesco III, Deborah Zotte, Rosemary Kendall and Robert Tedesco and father in-law to Kim Elias, Anthony Zotte, Mark Kendall and Tania Tedesco.
He was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren, Anthony, Kristen, Amanda, Bianca, Dalton, Madisyn, Amelia and Isabella. He attained Great Grandfather status to Phoenix, Gabriella, Lyla and Anthony.
Michael was pre-deceased by his parents and brothers, Donald Tedesco, James Tedesco, sisters Antoinette Tedesco, Janet Tedesco and grandson Anthony Michael Zotte.
After his retirement from Lockheed Martin, Michael was a connoisseur of fixing most things mechanical or anything with a motor. He loved to tinker in his garage and help anyone who had something in need of repair. He fondly became the “Mr. Fix It” or “Lender of Tools” of any community he resided in, befriending many.
When he was not in his garage or helping his neighbors, he was taking a trip down to the local gas station to fill up more than just his tank, he was helping to fund the Georgia Lottery and provide aid to those beneficiaries of the Georgia scholarship program.
Friends and relatives can visit on Friday, December 29, 2023, 10am -12pm at Middlesex Funeral Home at 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846.
