Obituary of Loretta Ann Letostak

South Plainfield – Loretta Ann Letostak, 97, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 30, 2023.  Born in South Plainfield to the late Attilo and Julia (Dentino) Mastrangelo, Loretta was a lifelong resident of the borough. 

She worked in the accounting department of Queen City Pontiac, formerly located in North Plainfield.  She belonged to Sacred Heart Church and never missed an opportunity to be with her family. 

Predeceased by her husband Stephen in 2020, and by her son Daniel, Loretta leaves behind her children; son, Anthony Sacco and his wife Patricia, daughters Teresa and Denise Sacco, all of South Plainfield, two step-children; Chester Letostak and Cathy Wasserbach along with her husband Mark and by her ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6pm-8pm and on Friday, January 5, 2024 beginning 9:00am.  Funeral services will begin 9:30am in the funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2024 followed by a 10:00am funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church.  Loretta will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot of Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
