Obituary of Warren William Morrison

Piscataway – Warren William Morrison, 90, died Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough.

Born in Jersey City to the late Clarence and Grace Morrison, Warren grew up in Irvington, graduating from Irvington High School where he excelled on the baseball field as a pitcher. 

After high school he enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country before being honorably discharged.  He married his wife of 58 years, Bernice Morrison and lived in Piscataway since 1966.  Warren worked for 22 years as a Production and Inventory Control Manager at Airco Welding Products in Union NJ, as well as 10 years at Ingersoll Rand in Piscataway, NJ. Finishing his working career at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick.

Beyond his professional dedication Warren enjoyed beach vacations with his two highest priorities, his wife and son. His charming and warm personality was magnetic.  Warren was the one you would easily warm up to at any happy hour or social event.  He was an avid golfer, bowler and dart player.  Warren’s passion for sports extended to his favorite teams the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.  Both of which were second to the Piscataway Chiefs/Braves where Warren was seen standing quietly cheering on his son. 

Warren was a member of the Piscataway Elks Lodge 2414 in Piscataway. 

Warren was predeceased by his brother, Richard Morrison and his wife Susan Morrison; surviving are his wife of 58 years, Bernice Morrison and son, Warren Morrison Jr. and his wife Victoria Morrison.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Piscataway Funeral Home.
