Obituary of Gloria Vertes
Gloria Keselski Vertes of Piscataway, NJ passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. She was 100 years old. Gloria was born to Mary and Adam Keselski on July 5, 1924. In 1949, she married James Vertes with whom she enjoyed 46 years of marriage. James passed away in 1995. She was a devoted wife and mother, supporting her husband’s career and her children’s and grandchildren’s many activities. She loved all types of crafts and traveled extensively. She had a wonderful 100 years of life for which the family is extremely grateful.
Gloria was pre-deceased by her husband James and her brothers Robert and Adam Keseleski. She is survived by her sister Shirley Lotz of Huntsville, AL, her children Jeanne Gregor (Victor) of Colorado Springs, CO, James Vertes Jr (Barbara) of Piscataway, NJ, and Pamela Smarrito (Mike) of Ocoee, FL, and her beloved grandchildren Shelby Elizabeth Vertes and James Vertes III.
The funeral will be private, remembering Gloria in the presence of her close family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Gloria’s memory be made to her assisted living facility at Parker, Attn: Finance, 1421 River Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
