Middlesex - Esther Gondeck, 93, died suddenly Friday February 9, 2018 at home. Born to the late Rev. Fred and Ragna (Knudsen) Jensen in Staten Island, NY, Esther is a long time resident of Middlesex. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and journaling. Esther will be remembered for her quick wit and clever antidotes. She was a friend to her grandchildren, always there to help raise them, teach them core family values and pick them up when they were down. She was a very caring person and made sure each one of them knew they were loved. Predeceased by her son, Ronald Gondeck; surviving are her three children, John Gondeck of Middlesex, Allen Gondeck of Monroe Township and Karen Kutasovic of Frenchtown. She will also be missed by her eleven devoted grandchildren, Gary, Chris, Jason, Daniel, Allen, Kristin, Eric, Ryan, Jennifer, Suzie and Steven and three great grandchildren, Alexah, Braden and Grace. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10AM in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08846 followed by burial in Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook. Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8PM.
